Sharran graduated from San Jose State University with her Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy in 2008. Her career has spanned from Early Intervention to working with older adults in their homes to participate in meaningful occupations. She loves to celebrate successes, from helping an individual learn to tie their shoes, hold a pencil, navigate their sensory world with new strategies, or learn the executive functions needed to bake their favorite cookies or do their laundry. She finds great value in animal assisted therapy, and has prior experience as a clinician with hippotherapy.
Her favorite sports to watch are figure skating, dressage, and show jumping. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her amazing family, time with friends, baking, being out in nature, and spending time with horses.
