Marissa is a born and raised local of Prescott Valley who graduated from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy after completing her Bachelor’s in Exercise Science. Growing up as a high-level gymnast, Marissa faced numerous injuries that tested her body and perseverance. After working with a physical therapist who helped her recover and reach her goals, she developed a passion for wanting to become a physical therapist to help others reach their goals. She was previously coaching gymnastics for nine years and has now transitioned into pediatric physical therapy, where she combines her passion for working with children and her experience in movement to help young patients achieve their full physical potential. Outside of the clinic she enjoys hiking, rock climbing, and coaching gymnastics!
