Genevieve joined the AzOPT team after completing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona and her Bachelors of Science from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix. She shares the passion of many therapists in bringing hope and positivity to the lives of her patients. Gen chose PT because she was looking for a career in the medical field where she would get a chance to spend more than 5-10 minutes with her patients and really take an active role in their journey. She says physical therapy is “the perfect balance of variety with regard to activity level/physical demand and is multi-faceted, in that there are several ways to specialize and get involved with different populations without necessarily having to get an entirely separate degree.”

When she’s not hard at work in the clinic, Genevieve dedicates her time to enjoying life with her family and friends- whether it’s adventuring in the great outdoors, reading a good book, exploring new places to eat, or volunteering to serve in the community.
