Amara received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Austin, TX after completing her Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology with a Minor in Spanish from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She has experience working with children and adults with a range of orthopedic impairments and developmental disorders. Amara chose pediatric physical therapy after spending time volunteering at the Children’s Hospital New Orleans. She hopes to impact children the same way she observed other therapists. In her free time, she loves to read, go the movies, and play with her dog, Tootie.
