Amanda B., OTR/L

Pediatric Occupational Therapist, Kids Place Goodyear

Amanda received her Master’s in Occupational Therapy after receiving her Bachelor’s of Occupational Science from the University of Buffalo in New York. She is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Therapeutic Listening (TL), Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT) for infant treatment, and  ABC Certified Fitter of Orthotics. Amanda has always and only ever wanted to work with children. Her first jobs included working at daycares, summer camps, and as a babysitter for various families. Becoming an Occupational Therapist was a great way to integrate her love for working with kids with her knowledge in science and healthcare. Outside of Kids Place, Amanda enjoys staying active with her dog (Cocker Spaniel named Penny Lane) with long walks or hikes. Her current goal is to visit all the National Parks in the US. She also enjoys anything crafty such as painting, puzzling, or sewing.
