Samantha graduated with a Masters in Communication Disorders from Arizona State University after completing her Bachelors of Science in Speech and Hearing Science from University of Illinois. She is certified in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Childhood Apraxia of Speech using Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC) and AAC Essentials – For Support Coordinators. Samantha’s journey to becoming an SLP was guided by her personal experience watching her grandmother work with a speech therapist to rehabilitate her communication and swallowing functions following a series of strokes. Outside of Kids Place, she enjoys swimming and spending time with friends!
